Welcome! Thank you so much for considering Refinery52. I’m Anne, and I am here to help you with all of your waxing, skin, and beauty needs.
My husband and I, along with our 4 kids and dog (and the backyard woodpecker that sets his alarm for 5am Sunday mornings) have called the Monmouth and Independence area our home since 2010. Due to the close knit community, and the fact that I consider anymore than 10 cars on the road to be a traffic jam, we have vowed to never leave this one stoplight town.
My hobbies include overthinking, aggressively avoiding laundry, and being so competitive at card games that it ruins it for everyone. I also enjoy pottery, reading, and spending time with my big, crazy family.
My business name, Refinery52, came from the idea that you are all already amazing and perfectly unique. My job is not to change you, but to simply refine or polish you up into the diamond you already are. Whether you come for a relaxing facial or a Brazilian wax, my goal is that you feel comfortable and at home with me.
All bodies are welcome - no matter your gender, height, weight, or build. You can leave your insecurities at the door. At Refinery52, there is no such thing as too hairy! Just please no door to door vacuum salespeople…it’s a long story.
